Bain Marie is a French term used to describe a cooking technique by which food is heated gently and gradually to fixed temperatures, or kept warm over a period of time.

This bain-marie stainless steel cooker is a shallow hot water bath in which another container is placed for slow and even heating. Ideal for melting chocolate or maintaining the delicate temperature of a sauce. The water is poured into the handle on the side. Nice finish.
