Where is Saveur du Jour located?
Saveur du Jour is based in Cupertino, California. We ship French products from our warehouse in California so you can receive your order more quickly.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. PayPal users can also pay with their PayPal account.

What is the shipping cost in the US?
We offer a $8.00 flat fee for most products shipped in the continental US. Those products ship by UPS Ground from our warehouse in California. Faster delivery methods are also available. The flat fee does not apply outside the United States nor to products that require a specific shipping. Please check our shipping policy for details.

When will I receive my order?
Orders placed before noon Pacific Time ship that same day. Otherwise they ship the next business day. Orders placed on week ends ship the following Monday. For ground shipping, the transit time goes from 2 business days on the West Coast to 5 business days on the East Coast. Faster delivery methods are available, like UPS 2nd day (e.g., order Monday before noon, get your order Wed.). After ordering, please check your email for a message from UPS with an estimated arrival time.

What countries do you ship to?
At this time, orders taken on the Saveur du Jour site ship to the US, Canada, Mexico, Western Europe, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. Please contact us directly for shipment to other countries.

What is the shipping fee for destinations outside of the US?
For Canada, shipping fees are US$8 and up. For other countries, shipping fees are US$12 and up. Shipping fees vary based on the shipping weight.

Do I need to create an account to order products?
Yes. To order products, you will need to create an account (this only takes about 2 minutes). In order to create your account, click My Account at the top of the page and you will be guided to enter shipping information.

How do I order Saveur du Jour products?
To order products, please place your order online on this web site (we can also take orders over the phone). To begin shopping, simply click on the product category that is of interest to you and browse until you find the product you are looking for. To add an item to your order, click "Add to Cart". When you add an item, all your selections will be displayed with a subtotal. View your entire order at any time by clicking "View Cart". Click Checkout (at the top of the screen) when you are ready to checkout and proceed to payment.

How do I know my payment is secure?
At Saveur du Jour, we take your security very seriously. We have implemented a couple of measures to maximize online payment protection. 1. We don’t store your credit card information (which is why you will need to enter it each time you come back to the site). 2. All transactions are encrypted with state of the art, 256-bit encryption for maximum security.

How can I track my order?
When you have placed your order, you will automatically receive an email notification to inform you about your order status.

What should I do if the merchandise I have received is damaged?
We package your goods very thoroughly to avoid any damage during shipment. Please inspect merchandise immediately upon receipt and notify the carrier if the merchandise has been damaged. All claims must be filed with the carrier.

What happens when a product is out of stock?
Items out of stock are marked “out of stock” on the Saveur du Jour site. You will be notified if an item is out of stock prior to placing the order. If for some reason an item becomes unavailable between the time you order the item and the time it is shipped, you will be notified immediately and a full refund of the out of stock item will be applied to your credit card as soon as possible, and in any event within 60 days of your order.

What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your order, please return the items in original condition with a copy of the invoice within 7 DAYS. Please check our shipping policy for details.

How do you ensure the confidentiality of my personal information?
The information we collect to process your order is kept private. We don’t sell, rent, or share your name, address, telephone number, email address, or credit card information with anyone. We will use your email address no more than a few times per year to send you updates about Saveur du Jour promotions or new products, unless you ask us not to by emailing us at info@saveurdujour.com.
