Notre Dame de Paris is the most famous cathedral in Paris. There are several classical views of Notre Dame, some from the front and some from the abside (i.e., the back of the cathedral). This nice art print represents a view of the Abside of Notre-Dame by the Seine River. The hand written text at the bottom says "Paris Notre Dame Abside".

More about l'Ile de la Cité. The Île de la Cité, where Notre-Dame de Paris is located, is one of two natural islands on the Seine within the city of Paris (the other being Île Saint-Louis). It is the center of Paris and the location where the medieval city was refounded. The Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, built from 1163, was badly damaged during the French revolution (1789), then restored in the 19th century.
