Rillettes is a spreadable meat paste similar to pâté, but the French will tell you it is not the same as pâté! Originally made with pork, the meat is cubed or chopped, salted heavily and cooked slowly in fat until it is tender enough to be easily shredded, and then cooled with enough of the fat to form a paste.

Just spread these delicious rillettes on sliced bread and enjoy with French gherkins. Serve cold.

These all-natural pork rillettes are shipped fresh.

Shelf life: 4 weeks when properly refrigerated between 34° & 36°F, 10 to 14 days once opened, and 9 months for frozen product.
