In a Provencal creche, there are 55 individual figurines or Santons representing various characters from Provencal villages. This beautiful Santon represents a woman wearing a traditional Provencal clothing and riding a donkey.

This is actually an old piece made of terra cotta and hand painted according to the Provencal tradition. This santon is in good condition and will make a great addition to your creche or nativity set!
