Vintage Ricard Pitcher - From the 1960's.

This beautiful Ricard pitcher in a French collector item. It was used in bars and cafes to serve the water used to dilute Ricard pastis and make refreshing drinks. The famous phrase "Ricard Anisette" is displayed on both sides of the pitcher.

The back of the pitcher reads "Ateliers de Ceramique RICARD - Made in France". This charming pitcher would be a nice French piece to display on your table or in your kitchen. You can also use it to serve water or to dilute your pastis!

Height: 5.1" (13cm).

No chips. The pitcher is in excellent condition.

More about Pastis and Ricard. Pastis is an anise-flavored aperitif very popular in France, especially in the Marseilles area. Ricard is the leading brand of pastis and is named after Paul Ricard, who first introduced pastis on the French market in 1932.
