Saveur du Jour ships products to the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Western Europe, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. Please make sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

$8.00 Flat Shipping Fee in the Continental US
We offer a $8.00 flat fee for most products shipped in the continental US. Those products ship by UPS Ground from our warehouse in California. Faster delivery methods are also available. The flat fee does not apply outside the United States nor to products that require a specific shipping.

Products that require a Specific Shipping
- Charcuterie. To guarantee the best product quality, Charcuterie and meat products ship by UPS next day if they are frozen, UPS 2nd day otherwise.
- Fresh pastry. Macaroons and Madeleines are express shipped to you directly from our pastry.
- Gift baskets. Gift baskets ship directly from the gift basket assembly facility.

Time in transit and Delivery Date
Orders placed before noon Pacific Time ship that same day. Otherwise they ship the next business day. Orders placed on week ends ship the following Monday. For ground shipping, the transit time goes from 2 business days on the West Coast to 5 business days on the East Coast. Faster delivery methods are available, like UPS 2nd day (e.g., order Monday before noon, get your order Wed.).

Shipping Fee for Destinations outside of the US
For Canada and Mexico, shipping fees are US$8 and up. For other countries, shipping fees are US$12 and up. Shipping fees vary based on the shipping weight.

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards on the site. PayPal users can also pay with their PayPal account.

Orders Taken over the Phone
Although online orders are the preferred method, we gladly take orders over the phone. Please call our US number at +1 408 410 6428 to place your order over the phone.

Payment by Check
You can also pay by check. Please contact us if you wish to pay by check. Paying by check will take a little longer than paying by credit card because we will ship your goods only once we receive your check.

Delivery Method
Products will be shipped from California within 48 hours from the time the order is received at Saveur du Jour. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday. Regular shipping is via UPS Ground. You may also upgrade your shipping method for faster delivery. Except in the case of the flat fee, the shipping charge varies according to the destination, the package weight, and the shipping method you have chosen.

Refused Shipment/Delivery Failure due to Lack of Availability
It is important that each customer provide us with the correct shipping information. Any orders placed with incorrect addresses and/or zip codes that need to be corrected by UPS for delivery will incur an additional charge of $5.00 for standard delivery or $10.00 for express delivery options. Any shipments that are returned to Saveur du Jour by shipping carriers due to: refusal of delivery; incorrect address supplied by customer; undeliverable address or delivery failure due to lack of availability on recipient's part will not be automatically refunded.

Refunds
Refunds that are requested and approved by Saveur du Jour will be issued to your credit card. If you wish that the order be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will be billed equivalent to actual shipping charges or published shipping charges, whichever is greater. Please make sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver to a P.O. Box. Please be aware that there are absolutely no refunds on International orders.

Order Tracking
You will receive an automated email notification to inform you about your order status. Please note that international shipments cannot be tracked once they leave the US and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Loss and Damaged Merchandise
Inspect merchandise immediately upon receipt and notify carrier if shipment is lost or damaged. All claims must be filed with the carrier.

Out of Stock Items
Items out of stock are marked “out of stock” on the Saveur du Jour site. You will be notified if an item is out of stock prior to placing the order. If for some reason an item becomes unavailable between the time you order the item and the time it is shipped, you will be notified immediately and a full refund of the out of stock item will be applied to your credit card as soon as possible, and in any event within 60 days of your order.

Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your order, please return the items in original condition with a copy of the invoice within 7 DAYS. All items must be new and unused, preferably in the original packaging, with the freight prepaid. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Sorry, we cannot accept any returns after 7 DAYS or without an invoice.
There are absolutely no returns on perishable items including meat, charcuterie, macarons and madeleines.
Please inspect and check the items that you ordered once you receive them. Please use a traceable shipping method (UPS, FEDEX, or insured mail) to return your order. Saveur du Jour is not responsible for return orders that we do not receive or if the returned order is damaged during shipping. You don't need to get authorization from us to return an order.

Our Right to Refuse Your Order
We reserve the right to refuse your order for any reason. If we refuse your order we will notify you by email and a full refund of your order will be applied to your credit card as soon as possible, and in any event within 60 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for the disappointment suffered.

Sales Tax
For customers based in California, we are required to add 9.25% sales tax on non-food items.
