Delivery in the US
Saveur du Jour ships products in the entire United States. Please make sure that your shipping address is located in the US, otherwise we will not be able to process your order. Also, please make sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards on the site. You can also pay with your Paypal account by contacting us.
Payment by Check
You can also pay by check. Please contact us if you wish to pay by check. Paying by check will take a little longer than paying by credit card because we will ship your goods once we receive your check.
Delivery Method
Products will be shipped from California within 48 hours from the time the order is received at Saveur du Jour. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday. Regular shipping is via UPS Ground. You may also upgrade your shipping method for faster delivery. The shipping charge varies according to the destination, the package weight, and the shipping method you have chosen.
Delivery of Kitchenware Items
Kitchenware items from the "Kitchenware" category are shipped separately. Kitchenware items are shipped directly from our vendors' own processing plants and cannot be combined for shipment with other products sold by Saveur du Jour (if you order a combination of Kitchenware items and non-Kitchenware items, they are treated as two separate orders).
Refused Shipment/Delivery Failure due to Lack of Availability
It is important that each customer provide us with the correct shipping information. Any orders placed with incorrect addresses and/or zip codes that need to be corrected by UPS for delivery will incur an additional charge of $5.00 for standard delivery or $10.00 for express delivery options. Any shipments that are returned to Saveur du Jour by shipping carriers due to: refusal of delivery; incorrect address supplied by customer; undeliverable address or delivery failure due to lack of availability on recipient's part will not be automatically refunded. Refunds that are requested and approved by Saveur du Jour will automatically incur the following deductions: 30% restocking fee and no shipping and handling charges will be refunded. If the customer wishes that the order be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will be billed equivalent to actual shipping charges or published shipping charges, whichever is greater. Please make sure that your shipping address is a street address, as we do not deliver to a P.O. Box. Sorry, we do not ship outside the US. Please be aware that there are absolutely no refunds on International orders that are undeliverable.
Order Tracking
You will receive an automated email notification to inform you about your order's status.
Loss and Damaged Merchandise
Inspect merchandise immediately upon receipt and notify carrier if shipment is loss or damaged. All claims must be filed with the carrier.
Out of Stock Items
Items out of stock are marked “out of stock” on the Saveur du Jour site. You will be notified if an item is out of stock prior to placing the order. If for some reason an item becomes unavailable between the time you order the item and the time it is shipped, you will be notified immediately and a full refund of the out of stock item will be applied to your credit card as soon as possible, and in any event within 60 days of your order.
Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your order, please return the items in original condition with a copy of the invoice within 7 DAYS (15 DAYS for products from the French Designers category). All items must be new and unused, preferably in the original packaging, with the freight prepaid. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Merchandise returned is subject to a 25% restocking fee (there is no restocking fee for products from the French designers category). Sorry, we cannot accept any returns after 7 DAYS (15 DAYS for products from the French Designers category) or without an invoice.
Please inspect and check the items that you ordered once you receive them. Please use a traceable shipping method (UPS, FEDEX, or insured mail) to return your order. Saveur du Jour is not responsible for return orders that we do not receive or if the returned order is damaged during shipping. You don't need to get authorization from us to return an order.
Our Right to Refuse Your Order
We reserve the right to refuse your order for any reason. If we refuse your order we will notify you by email and a full refund of your order will be applied to your credit card as soon as possible, and in any event within 60 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for the disappointment suffered.
Sales Tax
For customers based in California, we are required to add 8.25% sales tax on non-food items.
