Set of 12 Vintage Postcards from South of France.
We have sourced for you this unique set of vintage postcards from years 1915-1940, most of them picturing scenes from the South region of France (Provence, Cote d'Azur).
Check out the front one, reading "CASSIS - Vue Corniche" and saying "Who saw Paris and did not see Cassis saw nothing" both in French and in Provencal dialect. Cassis is a beautiful small town on the Mediterranean sea, near Marseille, and this saying is typical from the rivalry between Paris and the South of France.
Most of them have been handwritten with this nice old fashioned handprint, and are stamped and dated.
