Antique French Rose & Yellow Gold Plated Ornate Floral Brooch

Beautiful ornate antique French floral brooch from the 19th century. It is beautifully detailed and is rose and yellow gold plated. The double square shape has flowers in four corners, the four others have yellow gold leaves and a clear rhinestone in the center. Its closure is a typical Victorian C clasp. 

There's a jeweler mark on the C clasp but even with a jeweler's loupe it is impossible to read.

Those small gold plated brooches were very popular in France in the 19th century. 

It is in good antique condition with some slight signs of age. The center rhinestone has been replaced.

A very unique piece for an antique lover or collector. A perfect "something old" for a wedding.
