Paris Souvenir Print - Invalides
Original 1915 colored photogravure, extract from a Paris souvenir booklet that used to be purchased by tourists visiting the "City of Lights"
The original print depicts the Dôme des Invalides and is presented in a cellophane sleevw with a 8'x11" mat, ready to be framed. The print itself is approximately 7" x 4 1/2". This is a very unique period piece.
The Invalides was originally a hospital and retirement home for war veterans, built in 1676 under Louis XIV. It now host several museums related to France military history.
