Paris Souvenir Print - Pont Alexandre III
Original 1915 colored photogravure, extract from a Paris souvenir booklet that used to be purchased by tourists visiting the "City of Lights"
This original print depicts the Pont Alexandre III (Alexander III bridge) and is presented in a cellophane sleeve with a 8'x11" mat, ready to be framed. This is a very unique period piece with its muted colors. The Alexander III bridge, built in the Beaux Arts style, is considered as the most ornate bridge in Paris. It connects the Champs-Elysees to the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides and was inaugurated for the 1900 Universal Exhibition.
