Boulder Opal & Variscite Necklace

The pendant is a free form polished Boulder opal, brown with green opalescent flecks. It is at the center of a strand of simple cut faceted variscite interspersed with vermeil spacers. Clasp is sterling silver and vermeil. Variscite is a relatively rare phosphate mineral, which is sometimes confused with turquoise but is usually greener in color.
