Vintage Signed Roman Double Interlocking Hearts Rhinestone Gold Tone Brooch - Valentine Gift

This beautiful sparkly brooch is made of 2 interlocking hearts in gold tone metal with pave clear rhinestones. It is signed Roman at the back. A great Valentine's day gift! 

This brooch is from the 70's or early 80's.

Originally, founded in 1973 by Melvin Roman in Chicago, the Roman Company produced brand jewelry skillfully imitating expensive jewelry. His jewelry pieces became very popular among jewelry lovers. The company used high quality materials, like high quality Austrian crystals, cabochons, rhinestones, mother of pearl, enamel and jewelry alloy of gold tone. The company was in business only until 1984 so not many pieces are on the market and have become quite collectibles.
