Vintage Marvella Grey & White Faux Pearls Pave Rhinestones Silver Tone Clip-on Earrings

Lovely vintage Marvella white and gray glass pearls and pave rhinestones silver tone clip-on earrings from the 1960's.  Six gray and white pearls of different size alternate in a half round shape at the bottom and the center features a clear pave rhinestones half crescent. Marvella is know for their high quality artificial pearls. 

They are signed Marvella with the © sign which dates them post 1955. 

They are in very good vintage condition.

The history of iconic jewelry brand Marvella was founded in 1911 in Philadelphia, by the Weinrich Brothers. In the 1950s the company developed a wide production of jewelry made of artificial pearls of excellent quality under the brand name «Marvella Pearls, Inc.». In 1965, the company specialized in making copies of jewelry with artificial pearls. Necklaces made of multiple strands of glass beads and artificial pearls, interspersed with rock crystal. 

Bought by «Trifari» in 1982, several years later it was sold to the “Monet Group, Inc.». The Marvella trademark ceased to exist in 2016.

All jewelry is gift packaged in organza bags and earrings come with silicone pads or stoppers for comfort and security.
