Vintage Scitarelli Red & Clear Rhinestones, Faux Pearls Gold Tone Floral Brooch

Pretty and delicate vintage Scitarelli pearls, rhinestones and gold tone metal floral brooch/pendant from the late 1940's. The center is set with three red oval and clear chaton rhinestones. The border of each of the open work 3 petals is is set with five faux pearls and clear small chaton rhinestones on each side. 

All rhinestones are prong set. It can be used as a brooch or a pendant. 

It is signed Scitarelli at the back. It is in excellent vintage condition. 

A very dainty and elegant brooch that would be a great addition to any vintage collection.

M. & S. Manufacturing company founded in 1946 in Providence launched “Phyllis” and “Phyllis Original's" trademarks for production of costume jewelry. They also signed jewelry with an Italian name “Scitarelli”. The company made costume jewelry with silver, sterling silver or with 12K gold plating. The designers were inspired by the Art Deco style and used an abundance of diamond style stones, crystals and rhinestones. The trademarks ceased to exist in the early 1060’s. 

Their high-quality costume jewelry is now highly collectible.
