Vintage Signed Marvella Faux Pearls Triple Strand Necklace

Lovely vintage signed Marvella faux pearls triple strand necklace from the 1950's. The cream colored pearls are graduated from 6 mm in the center to 3 mm. The necklace is finished with a silver tone box clasp adorned with pave clear rhinestones.

It is signed Marvella at the back of the clasp. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, the pearls have a lot of luster. 

A wonderful gift for a graduation or a perfect simple and elegant necklace for a wedding.

The history of iconic jewelry brand Marvella was founded in 1911 in Philadelphia, by the Weinrich Brothers. In the 1950s the company developed a wide production of jewelry made of artificial pearls of excellent quality under the brand name «Marvella Pearls, Inc.». In 1965, the company specialized in making copies of jewelry with artificial pearls. Necklaces made of multiple strands of glass beads and artificial pearls, interspersed with rock crystal. Bought by «Trifari» in 1982, several years later it was sold to the “Monet Group, Inc.». The Marvella trademark ceased to exist in 2016.
